Rose Quartz - The Love Stone

One of the most desirable varieties of quartz.

Necklace ref.NG351

Have you ever heard your marriage can have more sparkle and fire when you keep a Rose Quartz under your pillow?? wow!! ;-)

Throughout history, Rose Quartz has been a symbol for love and beauty. Today it is known as the "Stone of Gentle Love" or the "Stone of Unconditional Love".

This soft and gentle stone, is not only simply an attractive and alluring stone, but it also possesses the power to actually charm its bearer, and, in turn, may charm those he or she chooses to relate to. It opens our hearts to acknowledge and more easily identify all the beauty that surrounds us, not only within all things and within all others, but within ourselves. It also encourages forgiveness through its soothing, healing properties.

The pink to rose red color is completely unique, unlike any other pink mineral species. The color is caused by iron and titanium impurities.

Rose Quartz is found in Germany, Madagascar, India and several localities in the USA. Much Rose Quartz was extracted from a famous site near Custer, South Dakota, but now, most of the worlds supply of good quality rose quartz comes from Brazil.

Brazil is also the only current source of true well-formed crystals of Rose Quartz.

This charming new necklace has different stunning tones of Rose Quartz (from Minas Gerais - Brazil) combined with murano glass, mother of pearl, organza lace and LOTS of Lasting LOVE wishes ;-)

It can be ordered by the ref. NG351

In the name of Blue...

And "In the name of Love" too as I love U2! :))

I think, unconsciously, I've been with a tendency to the "blues" this week. :)

Beautiful and peaceful blues, though...

The protagonist of this new creation is a " Tumbled Blue Quartz from Brazil".

Blue Quartz is a stone of Hope. It calms the mind.

Its different tones of blue (which is believed to be caused by very small Tourmaline, Rutile or Zoisite inclusions within the Quartz), remember me a stonewashed jeans (I love!), which specially in this necklace, combined with the Rock Crystal plus the chinese porcelain and the copper color of the other beads gives it this so sophisticated Baroque Style.

The petit pois lace adds the final sweetness and romance gateway ;-)

Natural Stones, Seeds, Wood, Polymer Clay, Glass...

These are some of the stunning beads used to make Cor de Roça's accessories after being harmonically & carefully combined.

Transforming a single solitary piece into an unique composition is our best challenge which always turns into a reward result.

One of our main characteristic is unpredictability; when you think everything is looking so homogeneous, suddenly you'll see something that "may be" out of context... but at the final result everything looks just so perfect! ;-)

All our accessories match either a basic jeans & white t-shirt as well as the most classic night outfit.

We work happily playing with the beads so "each necklace" we make is very special for its energy, for its uniqueness.

Hope you feel so nice and enjoy wearing them as much as I love creating them!

The sweet teapot...

I almost had no time to photograph this one! ;-) I already sold it but I thought I should post it anyway...

I found this white&blue chinese porcelain teapot and felt in love right away ;-)

After wondering for sometime what could I do with it??, I knew "for sure" it should be the next protagonist!! ;-)

I thought for a moment it should be all alone, but immediately after, I said: noooo, it can't be alone as It was showing me, by itself, how sweet it was and how happy & special it could make all the other beads around it!! ;-)

Not that for being so special it would make the others "less"... but exactly the opposite:

As being "so special", it could make all the others around it: "even better"!!!

Each one of us is "so special"...

We can choose to be all alone and keep all the sweetness, knowledge & love we have only for ourselves... or we can choose to be around our Loved One, Family, Friends, "People" and share our best with them... "even if" it's a simple smile, as we know it will always make their day happier... their life better!

From my heart, I wish you all a very happy Sunday and that you can smile many many times!!

Eveli ;-)

Cor de Roça on a trip to Italy...

Sandra

My nice friend, Sandra Cunha Freitas, a very well known radiologist, photographed in Portofino, Italy where she just spent vacation last July with her husband, Sérgio.

Portofino is considered the incarnation of La Dolce Vita. Located in the province of Liguria, on a section of the Italian Riviera known as the Levante Riviera, this attractive little fishing town has become the darling of the famous with its dramatic tree-lined cliffs, ocean views, warm weather and delicious food. Since the 1950’s, Hollywood stars and European royalty have flocked to Portofino hotels for a little rest and plenty of relaxation.

More about Portofino here.

Sandra e Sergio

Sandra & Sérgio enjoying San Gimignano, Tuscany which is one of the most charming and picturesque of all the Tuscan hill towns. Situated between Siena and Florence it's a town that still preserves its ancient medieval layout.

It all looks great!! The place, the weather, the trip together and the accessories for sure ;-)))
Thanks for sharing, Sandra.

I love Turquoise!

So feminine and sophisticated.

The combination of blue and green is one of my favorites. It brings me a very fresh sensation and a so feminine feeling.

Copper is responsible for it's blue toning while iron gives the stone a green tint.

The ones with the black lines in them are called Navajo Turquoise and helps you to stay in a place of love and connectedness with others.

Love, peace, healing, generosity, emotion, the unconscious, intuition, creativity, communication, self reliance, independence. The Turquoise Gemstone has more with feeling and creative expression than with rational thought.

This stone unites the earth and sky... male and female.

Western Astrology says that it is the primary stone for Aquarius and an alternate stone for Sagittarius.

Turquoise has been a sacred stone for hundreds of years all over the world and it is a traditional gift stone for friendship (always more powerful when gifted than when purchased).

Because of its color, it is an ancient symbol of the sky.

Working with Natural Stones has been a present for me. Besides looking to these so amazing natural colors, the feeling of touching it's the most relaxing and energizing I have ever experienced.

These 2 necklaces below have a mix of a Navajo Turquoise with murano glass, wood, seeds and clay.
